I started this business after making weighted items and other therapeutic items for my son who has ADHD, SPD, NVLD, IED, anxiety, depression, and sleep initiation disorder. After realizing how expensive it was to purchase therapeutic items for him, I took on the task of learning to make them. I got watch my hard work on his first weighted blanket pay off. I saw a child who slept better. One who could crawl under his blanket cover his head with it when having a meltdown and calm himself. It was magical to me that I was able to help him to cope a little more easily by what I had made for him. So started my journey into making these amazingly helpful items for children, teens, adults and the elderly with all types of conditions. These items represent love, understanding, and hope for all who purchase them.
The Calming Effect
Weighted Blanket Therapy also called - Deep Touch Therapy, is based on basic human behavior, being held & swaddled, which calms us. Certain pressure points throughout the body are stimulated by touch and serotonin is then released which regulates sleep and mood.
Weighted blankets provide Proprioceptive Input or deep pressure to the body. Proprioceptive Input is the awareness of one's body position in space.

Weighted Blankets
Weighted blankets are made to order with choice of fabric - fleece, flannel, or cotton. Choice of fabric design - solid color or with any design or print on the fabric. Weight of blanket is typically 10% of weight + 1-2Ibs. In adults or older teens you can also go for what is considered max wt or the light wt for the weighted item. You also have a choice of removable weight or weight built into the blanket. I also can give you a choice of sizes....any size from a throw all the way to a weighted blanket to fit a twin or full size bed.

Weighted Snake/Animal
This is a popular item. Snake/Catepillar is typically flannel. Flannel is soft against the skin for additional sensory needs. I prefer bright happy colors but you are free to decide on your own. Weight can vary upon need, 5Ibs-10Ibs.
Price: $20-$25 (depending on weight)
Calming & helps to increase focus
Weighed Lap pad
Your choice of fabric - flannel, cotton, or fleece. Amt of weight is anywhere from 5-8Ibs typically.
Price:$25-$30 (depending on weight)
* All items that get will be shipped via USPS.

I pride myself in making budget friendly custom weighted items. Each order, is customized to your personal needs for that particular item. If that means a certain type of fabric with a specific design or pattern, as well as specific way something needs to be made to assure the effectiveness of the item for the specific person the item is intended for.

I am always looking to expand my item inventory for the needs of current and future customers (or what I would like to call you all FRIENDS).  I will be adding in the near future, Seat Belt Covers For NonVerbal Autistic children, Teens, and Adults.  As like everything else they are  made to order.
